22" Fanimation Palisade Ceiling Fan

The innovative piece of fan history. The first generation of the Palisade was introduced in 1987 as Fanimation's first functional fan, designed by Tom Frampton, and used an Emerson K55 Stack Motor. The fan itself had a plain looking design yet had two unique hand-made sets of three adjustable palm blades mounted by a "hockey puck" style flywheel reminiscent of early Casablanca fans. There would also be optional canvas blade sets available in a variety of colors. This variant of the Palisade wouldn't last too long and would be replaced by the second generation in 1998, which had a more standardized 4 bladed design. The Palisade would go through many changes through the three decades of its life and proved to be a timeless look alongside its sibling, the Islander. Comes in Cream, Bright Brass, and Antique Brass.
