Drain Blade

A fusion of mortal science and ancient magic, drain blades are living weapons forged by the Cainite Courts to use in their war against the Global Defense Coalition. Capable of exsanguinating a man with a single cut, these weapons dominated the battlefield until the mid 2050's, where the GDC developed a synthetic alternative to human blood known as "Ichor" to further augment their soldiers, more efficient and awe-inspiringly lethal to their vampiric enemies, ichor would see drain blades fall out of favour until they could be made to selectively ignore it.
