Enigma was a cipher machine used since the early 1920s but most notably during WW2 to encrypt civil and military messages. It took a lot of effort for the allies to decrypt the code and finally being able to intercept enemy communications, like the position of the u- boats in the Atlantic. It comes in both the three and the four rotors version. Credit to zachattack90855 for the instruction sticker and for his awesome and extremely more detailed model of the enigma which inspired me and to Bluestolen for the letter decals
