Made by the Zirconian-based Jackson Electronics, which was on the brink of bankruptcy due to competition and free trade. It was created after one of the engineers used a coin-operated printer/copier in a local FamilyMart while travelling to Japan and took a photograph of it. The machine was then reverse-engineered and developed into what is now known as the JE0020, which became the company's first coin-based machine. This innovative product saved the company from bankruptcy and paved the way for further advancements in their product line.
