Autumn's Shield Prop

A shield of a peculiar design, using the template of a round shield and reinforced with plating most similar to that of a tower shield's shape. The plating bears the design of a leaf-less tree, with singular branches amongst its corners. The exact origin of this piece is unknown, with much speculation as to its name. Some say it was wielded by soldiers of an order most unsung, bearing the name of Autumn amongst them. Others say that it was a shield gifted to a noble or king by a friend, with the season of Fall in mind. Most say that it was carried by a great hero of the forest, who cleansed the wood of its neighboring malevolence.
