A Ninja working for the Lin Kuei, Smoke, codenamed after his strange ability to always produce smoke and vapor around himself, taught himself the attacks of his fellow ninjas, Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Reptile. As a Lin Kuei warrior, he befriended Sub-Zero, until the Lin Kuei decided to automate their warriors. Smoke was caught in between, causing Sub-Zero to temporarily leave and betray the Lin Kuei while Smoke was turned into a Ninja Robot (Yes, I'm serious.), although he regained his humanity later on. (Sprites are from Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, edited with Sub-Zero's textures from Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.) Smoke and the Mortal Kombat series are copyright Midway.
