Toronto Rocket [ORIGINAL]

The Toronto Rocket (TR short form) is the new train running on the Yonge-University-Spadina Line, which entered service on May 2011. The train was originally planned in 2009, but with it being delayed, the train had to enter service in 2011. The train was made and manufactured by Bombardier Transportation in Canada. The TR is repacing the T1s on the YUS, and those T1s are being moved to the Bloor-Danforth Line. By 2013-2017, the YUS will only have TRs. The TR will be running on the Bloor-Danforth in a few years, which will move the T1s to the Sheppared Line. In several years, The Sheppard line will be extended, and will soon need the TRs will replace the T1s completely. When thos trains retire, 4 are kept in a Museum and the rest are sent to a scrapyard or sold on auction.
