Samy’s TPS Template v1.0 A technical foundation for third-person projects focused on movement feel and weapon response. Designed to be modular and easy to navigate. Features included: Dynamic Camera: Smooth FOV and offset transitions. Includes focus effects (DOF) that trigger when aiming. Character Physics: Procedural leaning while moving, hip rotation synced with aim. Energy System: Stamina levels affect movement and weapon sway for tactical gameplay. Combat Mechanics: Visual sight with detection (no clipping through walls). Dynamic UI crosshair that reacts to movement and energy levels. Procedural recoil system. Proximity Detection: Weapons enter a "safety" state when too close to walls. VFX: Optimized tracers, subtle impact effects, and marks on surfaces.
