ENGLISH This model is based on the Jara-gwan (紫羅冠), a type of headwear associated with the aristocracy of the Goryeo period. Its name refers to a crown made with purple ra, a fine silk gauze fabric. Higher-ranking nobles could wear more elaborate versions decorated with gold ornaments and richly patterned or colored silk. This model was reconstructed with these characteristics in mind, emphasizing purple silk and gold decoration.
